Service Description

CogMed is a cognition program which improves working memory and attention. The CogMed Program targets both types of working memory: - Visuo-spatial working memory - Verbal working memory Studies have shown improvement in reading and maths for many students. This makes sense as we use our working memory every day, for every learning task. CogMed contains exercises that work on auditory and sound discrimination (needed for listening in noisy environments) and processing speed, auditory working memory, following instructions, grammar, listening for details, sequencing and attention. It includes a reward game where students can use coins they have earned to build their own world.
